Todd M. Kaska Speaking at Energy Efficient Roofing Conference

Kaska will be a speaker at the upcoming Energy Efficient Roofing Conference held April 8-9, 2013, in Charlotte, NC. The two-day conference is being held at the Omni Charlotte Hotel. The event is being organized by Principia, a leading marketing strategy consulting firm that serves the broad building products and construction materials industry as well as other materials-related industries.

The conference brings together manufacturers, distributors, architects, specifiers, consultants, contractors, property owners, and facility managers whose attendance provides the opportunity to make business connections and become better informed about trends in energy efficient roofing.

On Tuesday, April 9, Kaska will present “Selling Energy Efficient Roofing in a Design-Build Situation” from 1:30 – 2:00 p.m. This session provides advice on how design-build professionals can introduce energy efficient concepts while being sure the property owner or facility manager gets a waterproof system that performs according to their needs and expectations.

Immediately following his presentation, Kaska will participate as a panelist in “The Pitch: A Panel Discussion on the Best Way to Sell Through Energy Efficient Roofing” from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. During this session, Kaska and two other contractors will take questions from the audience.

Kaska began his career in the roofing industry working for
D. C. Taylor Co. in 1986 and currently works with several large multi-facility customers to understand their goals for managing roof assets nationwide. He is an active member of the National Roofing Contractors Association; National Roofing Legal Resource Center; and RCI, Inc. He is currently Treasurer for the Center for Environmental Innovation in Roofing.
