Avetta Recognizes D. C. Taylor Co. With 2025 Safety Award
D. C. Taylor Co. is honored to receive the 2025 Safety Transformation Innovator Award from Avetta®, a supply chain risk management (SCRM) software provider. D. C. Taylor Co. was selected from more than 300 applicants and 45 finalists across six categories for its commitment to enhancing safety processes, whether by implementing new systems or significantly improving existing ones.
Over the past eight years, D. C. Taylor Co. has made significant efforts to identify deficiencies in training, communication, processes, and accountability. From creating an essential functions profile and implementing a daily stretching regimen to creating a handheld PPE Guide card deck in English and Spanish for quick on-the-job reference and instituting a start work authorization process, D. C. Taylor Co. has become one of the Safest Companies in America (the company was awarded this recognition in 2024 by EHS Today magazine.) “We work hard to standardize, implement, and enforce safety processes and practices,” says D. Award winners were selected based on a set of objective criteria as judged by Avetta’s safety, sustainability, and compliance experts along with a panel of third-party industry leaders: Adele Abrams, Senior Counsel at Littler; Dylan Short, Managing Director at The Redlands Group; and Dustin Hickey, Senior Vice President, HSEQ at Industrial Specialty Services.
