Project Supervisor Daniel Lopez Gets MVP Honorable Mention
D. C. Taylor Co. is pleased that the Roofing Alliance recognized Project Supervisor Daniel Lopez with an Honorable Mention in its 2022-23 Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards. The awards program annually identifies and honors outstanding roofing workers and is run by the National Roofing Contractors Association’s foundation.
Lopez has been a D. C. Taylor Co. employee for approximately 22 years. During that time, he has set a wonderful example for his crews and has developed professional relationships with D. C. Taylor Co.’s customers, who applaud him as much for his quality workmanship as his vigilance with on-the-job safety. After supervising the largest and longest roofing project of his career, the general contractor on the project shared the following: “Daniel consistently operates an organized, efficient, well-thought-out work plan with safety at the forefront.”
A roof system manufacturer’s technical service representative commented recently, “My job would be so much easier if there were more foremen/supervisors like Daniel in the field.”
Lopez delivers excellent customer service while mentoring his crew members to help them develop and improve their roofing skills on the job. His coworkers and D. C.
