D. C. Taylor Co. Kicks Off 2019 With Winter Training
For three days in January, D. C. Taylor Co. held its biggest annual training event. The winter training took place Jan. 3-5, 2019, at its headquarters office in Cedar Rapids, IA. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to bring together more than 70 of our field professionals and not only update them on employment policies, but also provide critical safety training,” says Brent Taylor, President, D. C. Taylor Co., Cedar Rapids, IA.
The event combined classroom learning with hands-on demonstrations, with topics ranging from job-specific safety planning, materials management, functionality and use of technology in the field, and harassment in the workplace. Project supervisors and lead men joined executive leaders and team members from operations and project administration to share information, brainstorm solutions, and implement improvements.
