D. C. Taylor Co. Roof Coating Project Featured in CoatingsPro Magazine
Phoenix, AZ (April 16, 2015) – D. C. Taylor Co. is honored to have a recent roof restoration project featured in the March 2015 issue of CoatingsPro Magazine. Titled “Installing a Green Roofing System One Step at a Time,” the article profiles how the roofing contractor’s 10-man Arizona-based crew applied a roof coating on a 162,700-square-foot commercial manufacturing facility while it remained in operation.
The six-week project and all the steps required to complete the job are chronicled by contributing editor Jennifer Frakes in the five-page feature-length article. On pages 60-64 of the publication, the article discusses the complexities of recovering a roof with areas that required repair and low points where water ponds. As an even bigger challenge was coating a roof in the fall and keeping the temperature of the coating material at the correct application temperature while the weather grew cooler.
