Introducing Alex Harrison, Project Supervisor

March 24, 2017

Alex Harrison, Project Supervisor, has worked for D. C. Taylor Co. for nearly two years in the company’s Arizona office. Alex is a role model to the crew he manages. He looks at every roofing project as a unique experience and learning opportunity. He’s completed training in more than a dozen areas, including fall protection, HAZCOM, lockout/tagout, and OSHA 10-hour.

Name: Alexander (aka Alex) Harrison

No. of years roofing: 10

There’s nobody I’d rather be roofing with than all my coworkers because they are all unique in their own ways and have a lot to contribute to job safety.

When I’m not roofing I’m trying to learn more about science. I love anything scientific.

My favorite food is spaghetti.

The strangest thing I’ve seen while roofing is a migration of black birds that all landed on the roof I was on and the ground below; there must have been hundreds of them.

Throughout 2017, D. C. Taylor Co. will be sharing a blog profile of one project supervisor each month. We think our people are our most valuable asset. After you meet them, we think you’ll understand why.
