Roof Maintenance
Preventive maintenance extends the life of your roof and protects your capital investment. By preventing leaks, you can protect the inside of your facility from unexpected interruptions, production delays, loss of inventory, and employee accidents. It's the right choice if you want to maximize productivity while minimizing your time commitment to the roof.
Performing these services on an ongoing basis protects your warranty and, more importantly, your building assets.

Basic preventive maintenance
This is a simple, but thorough, preventive maintenance service that is based on a set number of hours for a fixed fee. D. C. Taylor Co. Service Technicians will:
- Inspect critical areas of roof (see sample checklist 108K PDF).
- Clean environmental debris from waterways to promote drainage.
- Repair minor deficiencies that can be addressed in the timeframe provided.
- Report on the activities completed. (An enhanced report of the roof condition, which includes suggestions for repairs and maintenance and provides estimates with supporting photographs, is available for an additional fee.)
Roof maintenance program
We can provide a comprehensive roof maintenance program customized to meet your specific roofing situation. This is a good option for facility managers who want to control their roofing expenditures, but don't have the resources to manage all the activities related to maintaining the roof. A roof maintenance program can make you the most organized manager in your company. As part of a roof maintenance program, D. C. Taylor Co. Service Technicians will:
- Perform scheduled inspection of your roofs to look for damage, potential leak points and other hazards. The frequency of inspection is dependent on roof age and condition.
- Perform regular cleaning of environmental debris from waterways to promote drainage.
- Provide minor and major repairs completed by trained and experienced work crews using full safety precautions.
- Deliver an enhanced report of the roof condition with supporting photographs, which lets you track the work performed on your roof and shows steps you are taking to extend the life of your roof. See how RoofLogicâ„¢ Asset Manager works.
- Provide reroof recommendations and proposals (when necessary); these are a seamless component of your roof maintenance program.
