Job site safety.
Hazards are present on every job site. We use the latest personal protective
equipment and established safety procedures to safely work around hazards.

|
Perimeter Guardrail.
Our perimeter guardrail system secures the leading edge of a building and
is set up prior to any work being conducted on the roof. Any worker outside
the railing must be secured to a structural member by the use of a lanyard
and full body harness. |
 |
|
Skylight Guardrail.
The skylight guardrail stand is utilized to protect employees from falls
onto or into an existing skylight. Four stands are utilized for each skylight
to completely block access to the hazard. |
|
|
Parapet Cable.
The parapet cable system is utilized on the perimeter or roof edge of parapet
walls. Steel cable is strung between parapet wall clamps that have height
adjustable eyelets. |
|
|
Mobile Fall Protection.
The Mobile Anchorage System is utilized to protect employees from falling
at the leading edge of the building. The system is constructed using steel
channel, base plates and a center section for anchoring a lifeline. |
|
|
Roof Edge Disposal
Site (Dump Chute).
The dump chute is used to transfer debris from the rooftop to the waste
dumpster anytime the roof is higher than 20 feet. Workers dumping debris
into the chute head are protected from falling by using a harness and lanyard
connected to a secure point. |
|
|
Roof Access Ladder
Setup.
The Roof Access Ladder Setup is the first step taken when arriving at the
project and is used daily thereafter. Proper setup is very important. The
base of the ladder is placed on an even surface. The top of the ladder is
secured to a rigid structure. Ladder rails extend, at a minimum, 36"
above landing. Base of ladder is located one (1) foot away from the building
for every four (4) feet of height. Damaged or defective ladders shall not
be used. Rungs shall remain free from mud, ice or other materials that may
cause a fall. |
|
|
Perimeter Cable with
Flag Stand.
The perimeter cable with flag stands is used to limit workers access beyond
the leading edge. Workers utilize this system as a fall restraint system
only and it is not intended to be utilized as a fall arrest system. |
