University of Northern Iowa McLeod Center - A Sika Sarnafil Project of
the Year Award Winner
This project
required waterproofing a heavily trafficked 25,000-square foot plaza
area that was located above offices and maintenance areas. Based on
quality workmanship and exceptional project management, this project
received an award from Sika Saranfil.

Oilseeds Plant - D. C. Taylor Co. accepts a challenge
Nearly 200 pipes,
steel beams and other equipment penetrate this facility's roof surface.
It's also used as a work platform and takes daily wear and tear from
continuous plant operations. D. C. Taylor Co.'s problem solving skills
were put to good use.

Oracle USA - High-rise headquarters gets roof makeover
The original roof
on this 12-story structure was losing pavers, causing safety concerns,
as well as potential leak issues. D. C. Taylor Co. provided a
replacement solution that gave the client a needed long-term solution.
And, remarkably, this $825,000 project required no change orders.

Rexam - Packaging company protects its assets with replacement roof
Poor design of
Rexam's roofing system was causing several roof component failures, and
the company was in need of a new long lasting roof. D. C. Taylor Co.
took the time to understand the client's needs, plan for success, build
it right, and make it last. The result: a satisfied customer and another
long-term working relationship for D. C. Taylor Co.

Worley Warehousing -
Roofing solution stops leaks and condensation without adding to weight
load concerns
Worley Warehousing,
which warehouses both dry goods and refrigerated products,
was experiencing condensation and leak problems in one of their buildings.
During the initial inspection of the roof, the D. C. Taylor Co. team found
weight load concerns that would limit the re-roofing options. D. C. Taylor
Co. worked with a structural engineering firm to design a solution
that would solve Worley’s condensation problems and protect their
customers' products without overloading the structure.

Marin County Civic Center - Protecting
one of Frank Lloyd Wright's largest
designs
The unique design of this 220,000-square-foot roof posed several
challenges, and D. C. Taylor Co. provided the right combination of
specialized expertise with focus on craftsmanship and safety.

Castleview Hospital - Combination of re-roofing and preventive maintenance
keeps hospital serving patients
Castleview Hospital had several buildings with roofs of varying age and
condition. They needed a way to organize their roof maintenance program
and to determine if and when re-roofing was necessary. D. C. Taylor Co.
performed a complete roof investigation and made recommendations for replacing

Saint-Gobain Containers - Roof coating restores 25-year-old roof and
protects glass manufacturing business
The original galvalume finish was mostly eroded at the Saint-Gobain
Containers facility in Pevely, Mo. Repairs were showing
varied signs of deterioration, trapping water and rusting out roof
panels. These problems were creating a potential leak hazard that needed
to be stopped before it interrupted plant operations.

Bando USA - Manufacturing company decides to stop using
bandage approach to fixing roof leaks
Bando U.S.A.’s standing seam metal roof had been leaking and causing
production problems since it was constructed in 1988. Extensive repairs
were made over the years by stripping in horizontal lap seams and flashing
transitions. These repairs had varied degrees of success. Find out how

Maintenance Shop - Quality workmanship is still paying off 25 years later
A quarter of a century after D. C. Taylor Co. installed a
fully-adhered thermoplastic membrane over a built-up roof system, these
roofs are still performing, and have surpassed the manufacturer warranty.
