Commercial Roofing Service Sales Representative - Concord, Calif.

JOB SUMMARY:

Sell preventive maintenance and roof repair services to new prospects and existing customers leading to long-term client relationships in the Concord area.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Utilize door-to-door and phone-based selling skills.

  • Investigate and diagnose roof conditions and develop repair scopes of work and pricing.

  • Ensure customer databases are updated.

  • Support roof contract sales by developing relationships and expanding service offerings to key customers.

  • Understand workflow and job processes within the company.

  • Generates estimates and proposals.

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree with an emphasis in marketing/sales or trade work preferred.

  • Five or more years' experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships, and/or five or more years' trade work experience; commercial roofing-related preferred.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn new software such as Roof Logic, Lotus Notes, Roof Cad, etc.

  • Travel required, 10 to 20 percent of the time.
