JOB SUMMARY:
The Receptionist will be
responsible for answering the phone in a timely manner. Other responsibilities
include opening and distributing the morning mail including overnight packages;
processing and mailing the evening mail including overnight packages.
MAJOR
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Answer phones

Listen to general mailbox
and direct messages as needed

Process incoming and
outgoing UPS packages daily
-
Process incoming and
outgoing mail daily
-
Monitor and order office
supplies (kitchen supplies and outside coffee machine included)
-
Office equipment
maintenance - ensure all equipment has paper and toner. (Canon copier, HP
printer, postage machine, fax machine)
-
Monitoring and
replenishing copies of various forms needed by company (i.e., letterhead,
envelopes, etc.)

HR Administration
handle all new hire paperwork and orientations in conjunction with corporate
office
-
Entry and tracking of
weekly tailgate meetings
-
Ordering, maintaining and
distribution of D.C. Taylor Co. clothing
-
Weekly payroll
distribution
-
Miscellaneous invoice
coding
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Entry level position;
previous use of a switchboard and other office equipment would be preferred,
but not required
-
High School diploma
required
-
Must be computer literate
in Microsoft Word and Excel
-
Must have strong customer
service skills and a warm, welcoming personality
-
Excellent organizational
and planning skills required with the ability to take direction from many
different people

Behavior and appearance
in accord with the importance of being a persons first impression of D.C.
