JOB SUMMARY:
Employ D. C. Taylor Co. resources to
produce a safe and profitable work environment. Resources include crew
personnel, support personnel, materials and vehicles.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Provide a work place for crew
personnel that complies with D. C. Taylor Co. policy. Train and assist crew
leaders in setting up and maintaining a safe work place.

Ensure assigned crew personnel
are being trained and retained. Work with crew leaders to implement a
training program to improve the value of our crew personnel. Review
recommended raises for individuals who are actively progressing through the
Competency Portfolio.

Complete all project management
activities associated with the execution of the project. Prepare timely
requisitions to support the schedule ensuring required material and
equipment will be on site at job start-up.

Assist crew leaders with job
starts. Closely monitor progress of each project and ensure 100 percent
completion at closeout. Use support personnel to assist in:
- Ordering material.
- Providing manpower to augment the crew.
- Setting-up cranes, dumpsters and other temporary services.
- Requesting quotes, preparing subcontracts and getting certificates of
insurance from subcontractors.
- Requirements for drug testing.
- Payroll, prevailing wage information.
- Special building, city, county permits needed.
- Insurance requirements.

Work with the sales person to
identify and define the performance, price and schedule for projects
assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 4 years experience in
commercial roofing and/or construction; knowledge of multiple roofing
systems a strong plus.

Excellent leadership and
communication skills.

Travel and valid driver's
license required.

Must pass drug test.
