JOB SUMMARY:
Develop long-term customers via
direct sales. Develop relationships with roofing decision makers (building
owners, facility managers, plant engineers, procurement officers, etc.) based on
trust and confidence leading to negotiated sales opportunities in an assigned
territory while acquiring the additional skills and knowledge specific to D. C.
Taylor Co. that are necessary for success.
MAJOR
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Contract and service sales and
revenue objectives.

Build and maintain customer
relationships.

Develop new relationships with
prospective customers.

Mentor team members.

Understand workflow and job
processes within the company.

Direct marketing/sales support
activities for sales territory.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree and minimum of
five years outside professional sales experience in the construction
industry (roofing experience a plus).

Excellent leadership and
communication skills.

Must be computer literate,
including experience with computer-based estimating systems.

Travel required, 40 to 50
percent of the time.
